Terms of Service

Attentico remembers birthdays, reminds you in time and helps you send a personal card — with card messages suggested by AI that you review and approve yourself. By creating an account and using the service you agree to these terms.

You are responsible for:

• the accuracy of your account details
• keeping your password confidential
• all activity that takes place through your account

You may not transfer your account to a third party without our permission.

Attentico is intended for users aged 16 and over.

The core of Attentico is free: keeping track of birthdays, receiving reminders and preparing a card costs nothing. Sending digital cards is free too, and so are your first three physical cards. After that you only pay for a physical card you actually send — €3.50 per card, VAT included.

• The price is always on your screen before you approve a card; nothing is added on top.
• Payment is per card, via Mollie. There is no subscription, no credit balance and no automatic renewal. When you set up a payment method, a one-off €0.01 is charged so your bank can confirm the mandate.
• Every physical card is printed especially for you. That is why the statutory right of withdrawal for made-to-order products does not apply (art. 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code). If something goes wrong with printing or delivery, we'll sort it out — email hello@attentico.nl.
• If a payment fails, the card is not sent. You are not committed to anything.
• Price changes only apply to new cards and are always shown upfront.

Attentico offers an optional, read-only import of your contacts from Google Contacts or Outlook. The following applies:

• We import name, email address, phone number and birthday, and — if present in your address book — address, job title, company and notes.
• We use that data exclusively to create contacts in your account — never for advertising, profiling or resale.
• You can revoke access at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions or account.microsoft.com.
• Our use of Google API data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You may not use Attentico for:

• illegal activities or fraud
• spam or unsolicited communication
• violating the privacy or intellectual property rights of others
• automated scraping of the service without permission
• uploading malicious software

We reserve the right to deactivate accounts in case of abuse, without prior notice.

Card messages are suggested by AI from the processors listed in our privacy policy (§6). You review, edit and send every message yourself — nothing goes out the door without your approval. Always give an AI text a quick read; it can get things wrong.

Physical cards are printed and delivered by post through our print partner. We schedule sending so a card lands on the doormat well in time, but with postal delivery we cannot guarantee an exact day. If a card doesn't arrive or arrives damaged, email hello@attentico.nl and we'll find a solution. Sending always happens with your prior approval; please keep delivery addresses up to date yourself.

All rights to the Attentico software, platform, brand name and content rest with Attentico or its licensors. You may use the service for personal or business use in accordance with these terms, but you may not copy, decompile or distribute the software.

Attentico provides the service 'as is'. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Attentico is not liable for:

• indirect damage, lost profits or consequential damage
• damage caused by late or failed postal delivery by third parties
• damage from unauthorised access to your account resulting from negligence on your part
• loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability is in all cases limited to the amount you paid to Attentico in the past 3 months.

You can delete your account at any time via Security in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent: nearly all your data is erased right away. What remains is a security log with no link to you; §7 of the privacy policy explains what it holds. Attentico reserves the right to terminate accounts that act in violation of these terms.

We may amend these terms. For significant changes we will email you at least 14 days in advance. If you continue to use Attentico after the new terms take effect, you accept the amended terms.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
